Savannah Dean Reeves

Betting on Herself and Winning Big in Country Music

Savannah Dean Reeves is carving out her own lane in country music with raw authenticity, heartfelt lyrics, and a powerful voice that’s already turning heads in Nashville and beyond. A proud Kentucky native, Reeves splits her time between her home state and the bustling music scene of Nashville, determined to leave her mark on the industry.

At just 23, Reeves has already accomplished milestones many artists only dream of. She recently won the 11th annual Lexington Music Award for Female Vocalist, a moment she describes as deeply meaningful. “It’s the first award I’ve gotten from my hometown, and it’s very sentimental,” Reeves shared. That honor came on the heels of another career highlight: winning Best Country Music Artist of 2024. “I wasn’t expecting it at all. I was just grateful to be there and nominated. So, when they called my name, I was crying even before that,” Reeves said.

Music has been part of Reeves’ story for as long as she can remember. She started performing in bars at just 15, building her confidence and honing her craft in front of live audiences. By 17, she auditioned for The Voice, a major moment in her young career. While she wasn’t selected due to an especially competitive year for country artists, Reeves considers the experience a blessing, as it was the turning point that pushed her to begin writing her own songs.

Today, Reeves has eight songs released, with many more on the way, and an EP titled I Hope You Burn. Every song she’s released so far has been penned by her, weaving her personal experiences into melodies that resonate with fans. One of her standout tracks, “Bet on Me,” was inspired by her mother’s talent for poker—a skill that helped pay for her college education. “Sometimes you hit a point where you struggle, and you have to just bet on yourself, and that’s what I did,” Reeves said.

Her latest single, “Get Me Every Time,” is a catchy, relatable anthem about a certain type of guy that you just can’t escape—a character many listeners will recognize. Through songs like this, Reeves demonstrates a knack for combining storytelling with emotion, a hallmark of great country songwriting.

Reeves credits her mother as her biggest inspiration, not only for her unwavering support but also for introducing her to a wide variety of musical genres growing up. “Music has the power to transport us to another time and place,” Reeves said, a sentiment that echoes in every note she sings.

As she continues to gain momentum, Savannah Dean Reeves is proving that hard work, honesty, and a little bit of grit can take an artist far. With her unique voice, deeply personal songwriting, and an unwavering belief in betting on herself, Reeves is a rising star poised to make a lasting impact on the country music world.
